My husband was touched by someone compelled, I have always believed "Pay it Forward" and try to teach my kids this and the kids in the schools I teach at. We are believers in Christ and will pass your card on. Thank you may God bless you and yours.
ReplyDeleteJesus is love. Amen

ReplyDeleteThis past week I had to take my mother for some ultra sound testing on her heart. While I waited in the waiting room for her I had struck up a conversation with another women who was waiting to be told whether or not it was okay for her to leave. She had explained to me why she was there and what the technicians were looking to find. As she spoke I could hear the Holy Spirit as if whispering into my ear to pray with her, so I asked her if she believed in the healing power of God and she said she thought so, I explained to her how I believed there is healing power in prayer and asked if I could pray for her, and she agreed. Afterward she had tears in her eyes as she thanked me. The technician came out and told her she could go and she would hear from her doctor in a couple of days. I asked her if I gave her my e-mail address if she would let me know how it all came out, because I believed God had healed her. She took my e-mail address and two days later I received an e-mail that all her tests came out okay and she was feeling much better! PTL!
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic is Jesus! I pulled some boxes of food to deliver today, not knowing to whom / where they would go. As evening approached, we received a phone call from a family member telling of a man at a corner with a sign that stated "Need Food". I thought “what a great opportunity, I have some boxes of food and he has a need for those boxes!” I jumped in my car and proceeded the few miles down the road where the person was last seen; However when I drove by, the person was nowhere to be found. Not discouraged, knowing that if I had the gumption, God would provide the person(s) in need of His blessing. Little did I know that turning around in a parking lot would be where my path would cross with that person. Feeling awkward (it was getting dark) as I exited my vehicle and approached a young mom and her teenage son who were walking home on the side of the road, I spoke to them “Excuse me; I have some extra food and juice in my vehicle from our church outreach. Do you know of anyone who could use a little extra?” The young woman emphatically stated “We do!” After a few moments of dialog on where she was living, we agreed I would meet them in front of their home. I backed into a parking spot in front of her residence and waited for both of them to arrive. As the two of them came around the corner, I hit the release button, jumped out of the vehicle and opened the back hatch. They were pleasantly surprised at the couple of boxes of juice and food. I told them the only stipulation was that if they could not use it all, they would need to share it with others. The family was visibly moved and very thankful. They sent me off with handshakes, smiles and a “may God Bless You”. Now for the cool part… I set out this evening with the intent to bless someone, but it was me instead who was blessed. Sure, the young woman and family were blessed by the food; however, it was my Spirit that was consumed with this sense of gratification, instantly feeling better. It is interesting, if we follow in Jesus’ footsteps and serve others, we are the ones who actually receive. Hmmm, we serve and then receive?! How wonderful is the economy of Jesus. Be COMPELLED in all you do.
ReplyDeleteI watched a church live compelled. I was so blessed with the love of Christ that was shown. Thank you BCC!
ReplyDeleteDid you see this comment on Monroe Evening News? WOW, a wall of love! Cool. Nicole
ReplyDelete"I am one that received a box of food. This was the most amazing setup that I have ever seen. When I came down Temperance Rd., I saw tons of cars parked in the grassy area. I feared of having to wait outside in the cold in a long line. When I turned onto Jackman Rd., I was directed into the parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised at how they had it laid out. EVERYONE that volunteered their time there was so friendly, so upbeat, it was so refreshing. They had the volunteers lined up, directing the traffic, like a human wall of love. They had boxes all ready to go. Volunteers asked how many families, loaded up the vehicle, and you moved on.
A gentleman had asked if there were any prayer requests. Being a single mother with four children, I can use all the prayers I can get. I also asked for prayers for a loved one in the Army who is in the Middle East, along with all our military personnel.
Kudos to this ministry and their outreach to the community. You all are a blessing to everyone you've helped with this. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Good comes to those who help others. God Bless You All!
Thank you!"

My family and myself would just like to say thank you so very much for the food basket that we had received by the church on this past Saturday, needless to say we were very surprised. Bless you all! Thank You, Sandy & Family
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of my family I would like to thank you for the generous donation of food. It really helped out. I cooked the beans and shared them with my neighbor she was also very thankful. She has been unemployed for years. I am a spiritual dad I go to A.A. But I don’t go to church maybe someday I will. I was impressed with your helpers everyone had a smile on their face and offered words of hope If there is any type of way I can help out the church let me know. I will donate my time since I am often unemployed. Your church and the people that helped are a true example that people do care for other people
ReplyDeleteThank you very much
Hi. I don't know you but I would like to thank you and your church. My family and I received boxes of food on Saturday. I really appreciate the love your church has shown my family. You are doing great things there. Thank you
ReplyDeleteSaturday after church our family went out to eat. I am always looking for some way to use my compelled cards. We sat down to eat and could not help but over hear the woman at the next table who was on the phone and seemed to be having a hard day. We did hear her say that the Lord would take care of things but I also knew it was one of "those" days. I went to the counter and asked the waitress for her bill and gave her the compelled card to hand her. It is always a blessing in my heart when I can do those things. We never said anything at our table about what we had heard but my 8 year old whispered in my ear just before we left. She said, "mom I think we should pray to Jesus because that lady needs us to right now" I will keep praying that she as a young girl will continue to feel compelled!!
ReplyDeletesomeone paid for my food at McDonalds. That was nice.
ReplyDeleteI was in a parking lot and a gentleman approached me and asked me if I could spare any money for gas. I was going to give him a few dollars and reached in my jacket pockets trying to find a compelled card to hand him also. I went through all of my pockets (5 total) in the last pocket I checked I still didn't find a compelled card, but I did find a twenty dollar bill that I didn't know I even had. I decided it must have been there for a reason so I gave him the twenty and told him I would pray for him.
ReplyDeleteI work as a waitress at a restaurant, trying to pay my way through college. It's our finals week so I've been really stressed and the last thing I wanted to be doing today was working. But when I picked up my bill from my first table, the woman left me a "compelled by love" card and a 50% tip. I don't think I did anything special for her and I don't even know if she could tell that I was having a bad day. She just did it out of the goodness of her heart. It made my day. Things like that just remind you that someone's up there looking out for you. This is an awesome idea. I'm going to keep my card and use it on someone else! :)
